Recreating the past
In this project, I used code to reinterpret a historical artwork through a new, interactive lens. Drawing inspiration from an abstract piece at the Art Institute of Chicago, I reimagined the composition with generative motion, transforming static brushstrokes into a living scene.
With each mouse tap, blue lines accumulate like rising water, while warm tones suggest a floating vessel. This work explores how code can both honor and evolve the visual language of traditional art.
